The UL360 pocketable camp lamp design is inspired by traditional Chinese paper lanterns. A cylindrical milky white lamp body is made of highly transparent material for a soft light diffusion, but is rugged enough to protect the LED component from external impact, mimicking the strength of the stainless steel base, resembling a mini version of a small lantern.

When you’re used to seeing the large camp lamps that are on the market, the first time you see the UL360, its tiny size and delicate appearance impresses. Only thumb sized, easy to hold in the palm of the hand, not taking up much space in your pocket, it is a portable light source that you won’t want to miss.

The soft light that is just right

The UL360 uses the top grade XP-G2 R5 CREE white LED, with a light effect closer to natural daylight, with its high transmittance lightshade, the light is soft, not dazzling, but warm and cozy.

The 360 degree rotation design, lets you follow your inclination to adjust the lighting direction. UL360 will stay put the way you need it, at whatever arbitrary angle, make it easier for you to see what you’re looking at.

The UL360 has a bright and dim light setting; you can switch between them by rotating the tail switch (it’s also the mode switching switch), simple and convenient. 70 lumens bright, so you can see up to 5 meters in any direction; the dim light is 10 lumens, letting you see up to 1 meter in any direction. You can leave the UL360 hanging in the tent to illuminate your camp, or let its soft light to create a romantic atmosphere in your tent. An AA battery supports 30 hours of light, so the UL360 will accompany you through the night.

The IPX-6 water-proof design, even on a stormy night, keeps the UL360 standing silent guard in your tent, keeping it lit with a warm light.

Multi-functional to use in so various ways

The UL360, although it is a pocket lamp, has applications that go farther than camping. The magnetic suction chassis design, the collocation nalide patent S-biner clip and the elastic rope, make the UL360 multi-functional, so you can stick it onto an iron surface, or hang it from the clip, or bind it or suspend it to use it in so many ways.

NEXTORCH Professional Medical Penlight Dr.K3 Hits the Market

Traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis is based on information gleaned from looking at the patient; the ancients advised that the wise learn from using their eyes. Modern science has also confirmed that 90% of information obtained by people is based on visual access, so the importance of inspection of patients with symptoms self-evident. And only in plenty of light, in order to ensure the accuracy of visual information accessed, the doctor in diagnosis often uses a flashlight or other mobile lighting equipment. Doctors need a reliable and professional medical flashlight, NEXTORCH Dr.K3 has hit the market at this historic moment.

Early in the development stage, NEXTORCH specially dispatched a team to a German medical exhibition of nearly a hundred kinds of professional medical lighting equipment.  The team extracted from that three core requirements for a medical flashlight, and listened to the more than 100 doctors giving valuable feedback.  Eventually after more than 20 modifications, ten testing sessions, the three beta trials which lasted for more than three years, NEXTORCH first professional medical flashlight Dr.K3 was finally made available.

Keep out the blue beam for safe diagnoses

According to data released by the World Health Organization (WHO) Eye Institute, from 2006 to 2008 annual Blue Beam radiation led to blindness in over 30000 people worldwide.   At the end of 2009, the Eye Institute issued an orange alert: "The hidden threat of Blue Beam radiation on humans will far exceed melamine, SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome), the destruction caused by H1N1., and will virtually devour human eyes

Almost all of the LED emitters include blue light.  If the eyes see blue light in excess of RG1, especially children's eyes, retinal protection will weaken, causing great harm to eyesight. NEXTORCH Dr.K3 uses advanced optical design technology, effectively reduces harmful blue light wavelengths to zero harm grade, to put an end to the blue light hazard in this product so that a flashlight can be shone directly to the eyes for observation. Professional Results for the Right Visual Diagnosis

Color comes from the color of the light source on the surface of the object where the color is seen, the higher the Color rendering index (RA), the better the real reduction of the object. Sunlight is the best for seeing color, the color temperature is 5000K, Ra=100. If the temperature of a light source is closer to the sun, then the human eye sees colors more vividly.

During visual inspection a doctor looks at a patient's shape, color, and general vitality and needs to see the condition of the patient accurately, as a slight deviation could lead to mistakes. To assist the doctor's inspection, which needs adequate light, NEXTORCH has specially customized an LED light source, with a color temperature of approximately to 5000K a white light, close to sunlight for viewing, RA>90 (more than 90% color reduction), very suitable for the requirements of highly precise and explicit medical inspections, to ensure a more accurate diagnosis.

Professional Lighting

After surveys from hundreds of professional medical investigation and a number of doctors experience feedback, the normal concept of distance for doctors diagnosed is 20cm.  950 lux illumination is the most standards-compliant actual needs of the light intensity, neither too strong causing people to go blind nor too weak. Meanwhile, Dr.K3 optimized light cup design, no dark spot uniform, to a greater extent to avoid misdiagnosis.

Attention to details

Cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of medical instruments are important means for ensuring the quality of medical care, so Dr. K3, with a sealed design isolating it from outside contamination, lets the flashlight function notwithstanding disinfection by direct ethanol immersion, so the flashlight can better meet the requirements for medical disinfection.

The flashlight uses one AAA battery and has a battery life of up to 15 hours.  The flashlight is economical and the batteries are easy to get.  The battery has a long life, so you reduce the worry that at a critical moment the flashlight won’t work, thus delaying the diagnosis.  Dr. K3’s tubular body comes with a graduated scale, convenient for the examination of the pupil of the eye, or a wound, or other on-site measurements.

NEXTORCH WINS TWO Red Dot Award!!!

In recent days, exciting news from 2016 Red Dot July announced that two products of Nextorch have received the Red Dot Award for Product Design 2016: the Rechargeable Focus Headlamp myStar and the Dual-Light P5G!!!

The Red Dot Design Award was started in 1955 by a well known German design association and has become one of the world's most watched design awards.  It is recognized as an international creative and design “seal of approval”. To win the award, a product’s appearance and composition get an authoritative "quality assurance", so this is the award that Apple, IBM, Porsche and other major international companies compete for each year.

The red dot award attracted a total of 5214 entries from 57 countries and regions around the world this year, fierce competition. And the fact that the rechargeable, adjustable focus headlight myStar, the dual-light P5G each received this honor means NEXTORCH is proven in industrial design capabilities, product innovation and the quality of product performance.

It is particularly worth mentioning that in the Chinese domestic mobile lighting industry, few in the field of industrial design have won international awards. The myStar is the first domestic product to have won the Red Dot Award for branded flashlights, which proves NEXTORCH has achieved a leading position for industrial design in domestic and international mobile lighting.

One of the innovative designs of MyStar is its patented focusing system.  By rotating the head, users can achieve a 360 degree circle focus to get a tight focus or a floodlight according to the different requirements of the environment. The maximum brightness is up to 510 lumens. MyStar uses the same lithium polymer batteries powered as a mobile phone, which not only reducing weight, at the same time also improving the safety and run time in use.

It is particularly worth mentioning that myStar headband design inspiration comes from an experienced women’s underwear designer. The myStar headlamp headband design both avoids the complication of the traditional three headband design, and also avoids the shortcomings of single strap headband which is unreliable.  This is accomplished with the tail of a "Y" shaped bifurcation, cleverly distributing head and tail weight, as far as possible dispersed to the head, simple and practical.

In addition, myStar’s USB charging design, resembles a mobile phone’s external mobile power supply, in that it can be used while recharging, to eliminate the worry of sudden power failure. The slow red flashing warning lights at the back act as a good security warning.

2016 red dot design award – NEXTORCH’s White and Green Dual-light P5G

The biggest bright spot of P5G is its dual-light technology. Its single all ‘round reflector can achieve 780 lumens of white light, and 170 lumens green double light output. For hunting sectors, two different light sorces are essential, one white and one green, but using two flashlights increases weight and volume to be carried and invite switch trouble. Also, the cost is higher. The P5G perfectly solves these problems.

Multi-light source flashlights on the market are usually composed of many reflector plus LED lamps, which are relatively large and the flashlight is very heavy. Compared to them, P5G design is clever: the two full power LEDs are fixed on a sliding undersurface, and share the optical system. Rotation of the head allows easy switching between the light sources. This guarantees the light delivered and, also can greatly reduces the amount of space that the flashlight takes up in the bag.
